Financial leadership built for construction

Strong operators. A gap in financial leadership.

WHY FRAME CFO EXISTS

Frame CFO exists to bridge a gap seen over and over again in the construction industry. After serving many clients in the construction industry, it became clear that most companies were led by exceptional visionaries and supported by strong project managers, operators, and bookkeepers—yet lacked experienced financial leadership overseeing the accounting function. Without an experienced CPA's perspective, critical issues often went unchecked:

  • Unreconciled and unclear balance sheet accounts

  • Inconsistent job costing that distorts the financial picture

  • Outdated or underutilized technology

  • Payment processes lacking efficiency and proper controls

  • WIP schedules not maintained or understood

  • Cash flow managed reactively

Most importantly, there was a disconnect between day-to-day accounting and executive decision-making. Frame CFO exists to close that gap—bringing clarity, structure, and insight to your financials so leadership can confidently understand performance, solve problems, and pursue growth with intention.

Founder | Sarah Perry, CPA

Frame CFO is led by Sarah Perry, a licensed CPA with over a decade of experience spanning both public accounting and industry leadership roles. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University and the University of Houston, respectively. Her career began in audit, working with both public and privately held construction companies, where she developed a deep understanding of WIP schedules, revenue recognition, and the financial complexities unique to the industry.

She later served as a Controller and CFO in industry, where she led transformational initiatives, built scalable accounting functions, and operated as an EOS Integrator. This experience provides a practical perspective—understanding not just the numbers, but how finance integrates with the broader business.

After assisting with the successful sale of a company to a middle-market accounting firm, she continued her work in a client advisory capacity, supporting many construction companies through technical accounting challenges, including revenue recognition and financial reporting.

She brings a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to every engagement, with a strong belief that financials should be both accurate and tell a story. Known for building strong relationships with her clients, she focuses on delivering clean, GAAP-compliant financials, clear insight into performance, and a finance function leadership can rely on.

Outside of work, she spends time with her husband and three children, enjoys exercise and tennis, and stays involved in her community through volunteer work.
